SPEED LIMITS (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011

(AMENDMENT NO.  ) ORDER 2025

 

Notice is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council propose to make an Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

 

The effect of the order will be to introduce a 20 mph speed limit on the following roads

 

BLAXTON

AVRO WAY, The whole

BACK LANE, The whole

BLAKEWOOD DRIVE, The whole

FERNBANK CLOSE, The whole

FOXGLOVE CLOSE, The whole

HAWK DRIVE, The whole

HILLSCROFT ROAD, The whole

MOSHAM CLOSE, The whole

NEW STREET, The whole

PARKLAND WALK, The whole

SHEPHERDS CROFT, The whole

SPRINGBANK CLOSE, The whole

SUMMERFIELDS DRIVE, The whole

THE CRESCENT, The whole

 

A copy of the proposed Order together with a map showing the restricted roads and a statement of the Councils reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at the Council Office, Civic Office, Waterdale Doncaster between the hours of 9 am and 4.30 pm or on the City of Doncaster Council Website via the following link http://www.doncaster.gov.uk/services/transport-streets-parking/traffic-regulation-orders or by scanning the QR code below

 

If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to City of Doncaster Council, Safer Roads, Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster DN1 3BU or by email to TRO.Objections@doncaster.gov.uk quoting reference LB/99904 not later than the 30th day of April 2025

REMEMBRANCE DAY PARADE
CLOSURE OF STREETS ORDER 2025
TOWN POLICE CLAUSES ACT 1847
 
The above named Order (hereinafter referred to as “the Order”) was made on the 15th day of October 2025.
 
The effect of the Order is to stop-up the streets listed in Part One of the Schedule to this notice on the dates referred to in Part Two of the said Schedule to facilitate the holding of a Remembrance Day Parade.

Part One
Locations
10:30hrs until 11:10hrs
1)
Bank End Road between its junctions with Wroot Road and A614 Blaxton Roundabout.
11:00hrs until 12:30hrs
2)
A614 Station Road in its entirety.
3)
A614 Doncaster Road in its entirety.
4)
The Green between A614 Doncaster Road and Old Bawtry Road.
 
Part Two
Date and Times
9th November 2025 between 10:30hrs and 12:30hrs
Vehicles will only be restricted during those times that the parade takes place on the highway subject to this Order and may involve a signed diversion. Those residents and businesses directly affected by the road closure will be notified prior to the road closure.

Wroot Road, The Green A614, Doncaster Road, Station Road, Blaxton Roundabout
2,3,4) Wroot Road, Bank End Road.
